Darley Moor Circuit Races Sunday May 13th
Matlock CC’s second Darley Moor Circuit Racing event of the year is approaching on Sunday 13th May. This is a chance to test those legs on a closed circuit with racing open to the following categories:
Under 8 Boys 10am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 8 Girls 10 am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 10 Boys 10:15am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 10 Girls 10:15am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 12 Boys 10:30am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 12 Girls 10:30am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 14 Boys 10:50am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 14 Girls 10:50am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 16 Boys 11.20am £6 – entry on the day available
Under 16 Girls 11.20am £6 – entry on the day available
3rd and 4th Category Male race 12.30pm 58km / 36 miles
3rd and 4th Category Female race 14.15pm 45 minutes
Catering at Darley Moor.
There will be changes to catering arrangements at Darley Moor in 2018 as the Club is not putting on its own catering but would like to invite interested parties – perhaps a chance to raise money for your favourite charity! The catering time is from 9am to 3pm and sales of tea, coffee and squash together with cakes seems to be appreciated by the riders / spectators! Darley Moor Info
Darley Moor Circuit is a 1.5 mile circuit on a World War 2 aerodrome on the edge of the Peak District just south of Ashbourne on the A515. A triangular well-surfaced circuit with chicanes and a hairpin. Although at more than 800ft the circuit is almost flat.
