Tuesday, 4th June 18.30, Matlock CC‘s Open 10 mile time trial – (often referred to as The Grouse). Help needed marshalling this event, contact - andrewspriggs9@googlemail.com asap.

Tuesday, 11th June Entries close for the club‘s Open 25 mile time trial on Sunday, 23rd June. Entries can be on line at ctt.org.uk or on a standard ctt entry form downloadable from ctt.org.uk and sending the completed entry form, together with a cheque for £10 made out to Matlock CC to Andrew Woolf, 14, Morledge, Matlock, Derbys DE4 3SD. Marshals needed for this event please contact Andrew – andrewwoolf22@gmail.com.

Tuesday, 18th June Entries close for the BSCA Grass Track and MTB Championships on Saturday, 29th June. No entry on the day. Entries must be on BSCA entry forms - available on the club‘s website- and sent to Chris Mottram, Parkside, Station Road, Darley Dale, Derbys DE4 2EQ. Cheques should be made payable to Matlock CC. Entry forms attached.

Tuesday, 18th June Entries close for the Winster Charity Hill Climb on Monday,19.00, 1st July. If you are an adult club member you enter on-line at ctt.org.uk. Entry fee £10. If you are under 18 and a first claim club member you can enter for £5 as long as you use a paper entry form and send it to C Mottram, Parkside, Station Road, Darley Dale. DE4 2EQ Cheques made payable to Matlock CC. Help needed marshalling this event. Contact Chris Mottram, 01629 734996, miriamhazelbarham@msn.com.

Sunday, 23rd June 50 mile Challenge ride. This year we are hoping to raise money for the Young Riders' Fund, which helps to support Matlock riders when competing at regional, national and international events. To this end we have a suggested donation of £5 for a rider, or £10 for a family. For this you get a great day out on the bike, on a tried and tested route, and two well stocked feed stations. This ride is NOT just for children, it is open to all and should be a great day. We will meet in Crich Market Place for a 9:30 departure and I would appreciate it if you could let me know your intention to ride so that I can alert the catering department (andrew@briggsfamily.me.uk).
