Young Riders Fund Trust
We have always historically had a Young Riders Fund Trust which is a separate Trust set up to help young riders with the financial burdens of racing. The YRF grant application form enables a young rider to make a claim towards costs in competing in the name of Matlock CC or school in British Cycling or British Schools Cycling Association Regional and National Championship events covering Road, Track, Circuit, Cyclo-Cross, Time Trial or Mountain Bike from March 1st 2018 until February 28th 2019. We support all young riders up to the Under 23 years category.
Please send your completed form to the Trustees via Harry Gould no later than March 31st 2019.
The specific events you will get help for are Regional and National Championships.
In addition, where you have competed in a National series, such as the National Trophy Series in Cyclo-Cross, please state to us your final overall position in the Series and not those for each event.
Unfortunately Regional or County level series cannot be claimed for (the money in the fund is limited!)
If you were unable to finish an event, please record why you did not finish.
The YRF Trustees will decide upon a grant payment to you after we have the application.
